About Us
Nurses & Carers
We are a family of carers. We are the one team looking to make a difference in people’s lives.
Carers make a significant contribution to society. They empower clients to remain in their homes and be independent at a time when they can be at their most vulnerable. We are proud to be carers.
Clients have experienced their own individual life journeys and it is a privilege to assist them at the end.
Be Independent carers have the support of the nurse led management team. While nursing skills are of key importance at Be Independent, we also have key team members who bring with them an extensive range of clinical and social care experience.
Quality
Individualised partnership care is provided based on a care plan agreed with family, healthcare professionals, HSE, multidisciplinary teams and the client. Every client is allocated their own care supervisor who they can contact for support. An out of hours service is available 7am-10pm
Be Independent is Nurse led and managed and the quality of our care is overseen by our Clinical Quality Manager. Qualified carers are matched to individual needs & services and are available 24/7 365 days a year depending on needs. We pride ourselves on providing consistent and suitable care for our clients.
Internal audits are completed by our Clinical and Quality Manager along with external audits form the HSE. Care Supervisors review each client’s service quarterly at a minimum. All carers are spot checked at a minimum of every 6 months. A strict confidentiality policy is in place which all carers abide by.
Continuous training programmes are in place to ensure that the team remains at their best. We carry out ongoing Client Care Surveys and all carers are fully Garda vetted.
Be Independent have been 2023 finalists at the Irish Health Care Centre Awards 2023 and The Carer of the Year at the Home and Community Care Ireland awards 2023.
