Position: Home Care Assistant
Reports to:  Care Manager
Purpose of Job: To provide one-on-one, assistance, support and care to our clients in their own home ensuring they retain their dignity, independence and individuality

You must be interested in the care and welfare of others and enjoy working with our clients, helping enhance their day to day quality of life.

Responsibilities:
As part of our care team your roles may include the provision of companionship, personal support, meal preparation, general upkeep of the home, medication reminders and assistance with personal care in the client’s home.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. You must have the ability to show empathy and a caring nature.
2. You must have excellent communication skills with a good level of spoken and understanding of English.
3. Ideal candidates will have experience in Home Care or Health/Social Care and have completed Fetac level 5 qualifications in home care or related course.
4. A full driving licence is also essential.
