Convalescent Care

Post Operative/ Convalescence Care

Convalescent care Convalescing after an operation or illness usually means that a person has a period where convalescent care and support is required whilst they get stronger and are ready to resume their normal life. Some people will choose to go to a Convalescent Home for a number of weeks but others wish to get back to their home as soon as possible and so we provide a one on one home care support service for anything from a week to several weeks allowing a person to regain their strength in their own home. This care can be provided from a few hours a day up to 24 hours - seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. Once convalescence is complete care can be either discontinued or reduced, it is entirely up to the client.

Be Independent Home Care offer a tailored service to meet the needs of each individual Client; the level of care required may well change during the recovery period and our care managers constantly review the care plan to reflect this.
